Week 6: Alpine Skiers of the Week

Updated: Feb 28, 2019

After six weeks of Carnival competition, we're glad to announce our Alpine Skiers of the Week from the NCAA East Region Championship at the Bates College Carnival.

Twelve races in seven weekends is a grueling schedule, and the Sunday River race trail is no joke: it's a bit of a marathon.

Dartmouth College's Patricia Mangan and David Domonoske performed exceptionally well this weekend to earn Skier of the Week honors.

Mangan finished atop the podium in both races: second in the GS (2:36.52) and second in the SL (1:54.43). While she was at it, she earned EISA Rookie of the Year honors as well. Not a bad way to end the season!

DAR's Patricia Mangan placed second in both disciplines this weekend and was awarded EISA Rookie of the Year.

Domonoske paired a fourth and fifth place in the GS and SL, respectively. He came through in 2:36.39 for the GS and 1:52.85 for the SL.

DAR's David Domonoske placed fourth in the GS this weekend and fifth in the SL.

This week is an off week as team's prepare for the NCAA National Championships in Stowe, VT. Check back later today for an announcement about NCAA Championships qualifiers from the EISA.
