Week 5: Alpine Skiers of the Week

It was an historic win for Middlebury College this weekend at their home carnival. The Panthers secured their first overall Carnival victory since 2008, and their first home Carnival win since 2002.

Leading the charge were Midd's Caroline Bartlett and Erik Arvidsson, our EISA skiers of the week.

Erik Arvidsson won both the GS and SL last weekend at Midd.

Both athletes won the GS races: Bartlett came through in a time of 2:12.57, and Arvidsson finished in 2:05.87. Arvidsson also won the SL, crossing in 1:37.84, while Bartlett was sixth (1:45.58).

Caroline Bartlett won the GS and placed sixth in the SL at her home Carnival.

This Thursday we head to Sunday River for the Regional Championship at the Bates College Carnival.
