Week 2: EISA Alpine Skiers of the Week

The EISA Alpine Skiers of the Week, following the UNH Carnival, are UVM's Laurence St-Germain and Dartmouth's Tanguy Nef.

St-Germain, in her second Carnival back following a two-year hiatus (if you can call World Cup competition a 'hiatus'), clobbered the women's GS field by almost two seconds. (Third place was almost 3.5 seconds back!) She finished the race in a combined time of 1:49.77.

Nef accomplished a similar feat, winning the men's SL race in a time of 1:43.66, well ahead of the competition. Where other athletes were grinding out the final straight, Nef seemed to be skiing comfortably on his way to the 'W.'

Tanguy Nef cruised to victory in the UNH men's SL race.

We have a break in action this weekend before heading to Stowe on February 1 for the UVM Carnival. See you there!
