After an exciting opening week of racing, EISA announces Allie Resnick from Dartmouth and Eirik Kveno from Saint Michael's as alpine skiers of the week.
Racing her first carnival for the Mean Green, Resnick combined for 160 points on the weekend. She won the opening GS and placed third in the Slalom, all from outside the second group, starting 16 in both races. Resnick, a member of the US Ski Team, started the Killington World Cup and currently sits 4th overall in the Nor-Am standings.

On the men's side, Eirik Kveno showed his dominance. The Sophomore was fifth in both the Slalom and GS standings last year but earned EISA skier of the week honors after his win in the opening GS and his third place in the Slalom. His win on Thursday was his first on the carnival circuit and his second podium.
Both Resnick and Kveno have earned two results toward NCAA qualifying but will undoubtedly be looking for more when EISA skiing resumes after the bye week at Mittersill.
